Write one sentence converting a gift into goods — "$25 fills one grocery bag", or whatever is true. Only publish it once somebody has actually costed it out; a made-up conversion is the kind of figure a funder probes and then discounts everything else on the page.
Cash gifts cover the things donations rarely include and the pantry is always short of: diapers, hygiene products, and food to fill gaps between drives.
